We get so many grievances because members receive notices that they must pay their premium or lose enrollment or OSB privileges...and then we can't even take their payment right there on the phone. I know we don't want to store credit card info ourselves, but there are many third parties we could integrate with. ( I suppose this isn't strictly speaking a portal idea, but anyway......)
Need to reply back- outreach for appropriate avenue- not really a portal concern, i.e. take payment over the phone or have more clients accept payments by portal.
This is a common source of member dissatisfaction that could really use a solution, but I agree it doesn't match with portal ideals. Online payment is already available for EHI and SHCA. An online payment solution for all clients would be a major plus, particularly as two clients without an online payment solution also have OSB plans that are subject to downgrade for non-payment (BayCare and Mary Washington).
